TRADITION 7 (short form)
Every AA Group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.*
District 22 is supported through 7th tradition donations from AA groups and individual AA members. The treasurer maintains records and reports monthly to the groups during District meetings. The treasurer disburses funds for District travel expenses, and covers District expenses as directed by the committee. The AA pamphlets, Where Money and Spirituality Meet, Memo to a Group Treasurer, and AA Guidelines on Finance, explain AA finance in more detail.
