District 22
Tradition 1 (long form):
“Each member of Alcoholics Anonymous is but a small part of a great whole. A.A. must continue to live or most of us will surely die. Hence our common welfare comes first. But individual welfare follows close afterwards.”*
Always mindful of the ideals expressed in the Twelve Traditions, the Twelve Concepts, and the A.A. Service Manual, District 22 strives to be the voice and group conscience of A.A. in the District, electing a District Committee Member (D.C.M.) to represent each group in the district at Southwest Texas Area 68 assemblies and workshops each year.
The District meets once each month to consider District problems and solutions and to hold service workshops to keep A.A. strong and promote participation in service.
